Architectural metalwork · Brunswick
We fabricate windows, stairs, balustrades and screens for architects and builders across Melbourne. Every job is drawn, cut and welded in our own shop on Weston Street.
What we make
We stopped taking general fabrication in 2018. These are the jobs the shop is set up for, and the ones we can quote from a drawing without guessing.

Thermally broken steel frames, powder coated or left raw to weather.

Stringers, treads and handrails fabricated to the survey, not to the plan.

Perforated and laser cut panels in corten, aluminium or galvanised steel.
How a job runs
Send us the architectural set or a sketch on the back of a docket. We return shop drawings and a fixed price, and neither changes unless you change the job.
Someone from the shop attends site before anything is cut. Nine jobs in ten, the built opening is not the drawn opening, and finding that out early is the whole trick.
Nothing is subcontracted except galvanising and powder coat, both to the same two suppliers we have used since 2013.
The fabricator comes to site for the install. If something needs adjusting, it is adjusted by the person who welded it.

From the builder
"They turned up to measure before we had even poured, which no fabricator had ever done for us. The stair went in on a Tuesday morning and nothing needed grinding on site."
