Morning light falling across a corner table at Harbour & Oak, iced lattes and sage-green tiles

Specialty coffee & all-day brunch · Ashcove NSW

Slow mornings, poured with care.

Batch brew on the bench by 6:30, sourdough out of the oven by 7, and a corner table waiting where the sun comes in off the water.

Our story

A corner café with harbourside habits.

Harbour & Oak opened in 2019 with one secondhand espresso machine, four oak tables, and a stubborn belief that a neighbourhood café should smell like toast and sound like conversation. Our beans come from Copper Fern, a small-batch roastery in the Inner West we've worked with since day one — seasonal single origins for filter, and a chocolatey house blend we've never had the heart to change.

Everything else is made the slow way. Sourdough is shaped each afternoon and baked before dawn, ricotta gets whipped every morning, and the harissa for our baked eggs simmers in a pot older than the café itself. Come for the coffee; stay because nobody's rushing you out of your chair.
